Nasal Strips

How it works, fit, and daily use
What are nasal strips?

Nasal strips are flexible adhesive strips worn across the bridge of the nose. They’re designed to provide a light lift and support—so nasal breathing can feel easier during sleep, training, or everyday use.

Perceived results vary by individual anatomy and placement. Non-medicated.
Will they fall off when I sweat (running/training)?

They are engineered to stay put. We use a specialized medical-grade adhesive designed for high-output activity.

Pro Tip: Apply to clean, dry skin 30 minutes before you start sweating. Once the bond sets, it stays secure through high-intensity sessions.
How do OlaAspen nasal strips work?

OlaAspen Nasal Strips combine a flexible support structure with a medical-grade adhesive. Once applied, they can help gently support the outside of the nose—so airflow may feel less restricted, especially at night or during movement.

Not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease.
Who can use nasal strips?

Nasal strips are widely used by adults. If you have sensitive skin or known adhesive allergies, patch test on a small area first and avoid use on irritated or broken skin.

If you have a medical condition that affects breathing, consult a healthcare professional before use. Not recommended for young children.

How do I use nasal strips?
  • Prepare: Clean and fully dry your nose (avoid oils/skincare).
  • Apply: Center across the bridge of the nose and press from the middle outward.
  • Set: Hold pressure for ~10 seconds.
  • Remove: Peel slowly from the edges. Warm water can help if needed.
Will it stop snoring?

Snoring can have many causes. Nasal support may help some people when snoring is linked to nasal restriction, but outcomes vary.

Non-medicated. Not a medical device.
Are they latex-free & suitable for sensitive skin?

OlaAspen Nasal Strips are latex-free and use a medical-grade adhesive. If you have sensitive skin, patch test first and avoid use on irritated/broken skin.

Do they have a smell?

No—OlaAspen Nasal Strips are designed to be odor-free (no fragrance).

Can I reuse nasal strips?

For hygiene and performance, OlaAspen Nasal Strips are designed for single-use. Reuse can reduce hold and comfort.

OlaAspen Mouth Tape

Comfort, vent design, and nightly routine
What is mouth tape?

Mouth tape is designed to support a closed-mouth posture during sleep—encouraging nasal breathing for adults who can breathe comfortably through the nose at night.

OlaAspen Mouth Tape is latex-free, odor-free, and features an integrated vent opening. It uses a low-irritant, medical-grade adhesive for a secure yet comfortable hold.

Perceived results vary. Non-medicated. Not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease.
What is the vent opening for?

The vent opening is designed as a comfort-forward feature—supporting airflow through the mouth if needed while still encouraging a closed-mouth posture for many users.

If you cannot breathe comfortably through your nose, do not use mouth tape.
Who should NOT use mouth tape?

Do not use if you’re unable to breathe through your nose, feel nauseous/vomiting, are under the influence of alcohol/sedatives, or have skin irritation around the mouth. If you have a medical condition (including diagnosed sleep apnea), consult a healthcare professional before use.

How do I use mouth tape?
  • 1) Prepare: Clean lips and surrounding skin. Dry fully (avoid oils/skincare on the area).
  • 2) Apply: Place over closed lips in a comfortable position. Press firmly to set.
  • 3) Remove: In the morning, peel slowly. Warm water can help release the adhesive.
Using lip balm: You can apply balm as you normally would. A richer balm may reduce adhesion—adjust until it feels right for you.
If you’re new, start with short trial sessions before overnight use.
Can mouth tape be used with CPAP?

Some CPAP users add mouth tape to their routine, but setups vary. For safety, consult your clinician or CPAP provider first.

Will it work with a beard?

Yes. Our woven material adheres to the lips rather than aggressively pulling on surrounding hair.

For heavy stubble or full beards, ensure the tape is applied firmly to the lips themselves. Peel off slowly in the direction of hair growth.

Can I reuse mouth tape?

For hygiene and performance, OlaAspen Mouth Tape is designed for single-use. Reuse can reduce hold and comfort.

Does it have a smell?

No—OlaAspen Mouth Tape is designed to be odor-free (no fragrance).
